The Artist Tree hosts Paint Parties on a regular basis. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to experience these fun events! There is absolutely no experience needed. The class is gently led step by step by a talented instructor and all supplies needed are included in the price of the Registration. See our Calendar of Events for upcoming events.

Paint Parties are great for almost any kind of occasion. Here are just a few ideas:

Here is what you need to know:

  • Parties are typically 2 1/2 to 3 hours long, depending on the type of party. This time frame consists of approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours of painting and if appropriate includes time for cake, singing happy birthday, opening presents, or other activities.
  • The cost is $300 flat rate for parties with a canvas size 12X16" and smaller, with "up too" 12 painters.  More than 12 painters are $25 each painter. The studio will accommodate 30 painters. 
  • The cost is $420 flat rate for canvas size 16 x 20" with "up to" 12 painters. More than 12 painters are $35 each painter. 
  • A $100 non-refundable Deposit is due at the time of booking in order to guarantee your reservation. The Balance and payment for any additional painters is due upon your arrival on the day of the party. 
  • Please update final count on the number of painters attending no later than 2 days before the party. 
  • Price includes all painting supplies, step by step guided instruction, and studio use.
  • Each painter will take home their own painting, which make wonderful party favors! 
  • Unless otherwise specified, Paint Parties use non-toxic acrylic paint. Aprons are provided to help protect clothing, but please be aware that acrylic paint will not wash out after drying, so please have painters dress accordingly. Paint Party/Fantasy Artz is not responsible for any paint on clothing or other personal property of any attendee. 
  • Food, beverages, paper products, and balloons are NOT included, but you are welcome to bring them.
  • Please bring candles, lighter for candles, plates, napkins, utensils, and a knife to cut the cake. If you prefer, bring your own music. A CD's player is on site for use. 
  • Alcoholic Beverages are not permitted at children's paint parties. Adult parties are BYOB, if desired.
  •  NO confetti, glitter, silly string, or similar product is allowed in the studio.
  • Please have your guests arrive about 15 minutes early so that we can start and end promptly.
  • On Location Paint Parties - Yes! We will come to your location! Paint Parties are perfect for your event and no matter how large or small, we can accommodate the size.. Birthday Parties, Office and Corporate Parties, Bachelorette parties, Fundraisers... Paint Party will come to you to make it a fun and memorable experience for everyone. Call for rates.

    CANCELLATION POLICY: While we understand that unforeseen circumstances arise, event cancelations cause a financial hardship for our small business. We also pre-order all the materials needed for your party. For those reasons we do not refund your Deposit for any reason, but will happily work with you to reschedule to a different date. If you must cancel, we ask that you notify us immediately in writing by email at: fantasyartz@live.com. Please include the words Paint Party Cancellation in the Email Title. Of course you may call us at 410-790-4131 to notify us, but we also REQUIRE EMAIL NOTIFICATION for confirmation of your cancellation.

We like to Paint it Forward. It's our way of giving back!

The Artist Tree strongly believes in supporting our local community and great causes. Having a Paint Party is a great wTay to raise money while having an opportunity to relax, have fun, and create beautiful art at the same time! It's a winning combination! 

To hold a fundraiser, there must be a minimum of 15 painters. Fundraisers can be held at the Artist Tree, but we can also come to you. You set a price, do the advertising, and refreshments. We supply everything else! At the end of the night we write you a check! Contact us for more details.
